A square-headed alien named Adu Du lands on Earth and plans to steal all cocoa as it is a powerful source of energy for his people.

To ensure the success of his mission, Adu Du activated Ochobot, a powersphere that can only be activated by cocoa energy.

The powersphere was supposed to grant him superpowers but it was accidentally found by BoBoiBoy and his friends instead, turning them into superheroes.

Now BoBoiBoy is doing what any kid with superpowers would do, by using it to have fun, making his own life easier while constantly protecting Earth against Adu Du and other square-headed aliens.
